Zachee Ama Orji came into this world on October 10th 1960, in Librevile, Gabon. He is from Nsukka, in Enugu State, in south eastern Nigeria.
He grew up in Cameroon, Togo and Benin where he had his primary and secondary School education. He is the eldest in a family of 7 children.
While he growing up in Cameroon, Zack Orji used to fetch firewood. He also assisted his mother with her soft drinks business. At some point he even sold oranges just to support his family.
After he obtained his secondary school certificates respectively. His father wanted him to study Medicine but he failed to show up at the examination venue on the day of his paper which led to his automatic disqualification.
